Fourth of July weekend celebrations

There are several events coming up this weekend throughout Barry County in celebration of Independence Day. I have created a guide for readers convenience. Have a safe and happy Independence Day from all of us at the Barry County Advertiser.
June 29
Roaring River Health and Rehab in Cassville will have their Independence Celebration BBQ Party from 7-9:30 p.m. with free music, games, and fireworks beginning at dusk. Food will be available for purchase.
June 30
Corinth Baptist Church in Cassville will hold its God and Country Family Night beginning at 7 p.m. There will be food, fellowship, and fireworks will start at dusk.
Butterfield Firefighter Auxiliary will hold Summer Celebration at Twister Alley at 6 p.m. There will be food available, vendors, and music. Fireworks will begin at dusk.
July 1
Cassville Area Churches will host Brighter Days Ahead, a free community fun day at the Cassville Aquatic Center at South Park. There will be food and swimming from 1-7 p.m.
The Barry County Truck and Tractor Pull will be held at the Stumpff's Event Center (American Legion Grounds) in Cassville, beginning at 7 p.m.
The Fired Up and Smokin' Fireworks Show, hosted by the Eagle Rock/Golden/Mano Fire Protection District, will begin at dusk at the Hwy. 86 bridge over Table Rock Lake.
Shell Knob Independence Fest will be held at the Shell Knob Community Park. Gates open at 4 p.m., and live music will begin at 6 p.m. Tickets are $11 in advance and $15 at the gate the day of the event.
July 3
The Purdy Picnic and Fireworks Show will be held at The Gathering Place in Purdy. Picnic starts at 6 p.m. with fireworks to begin at 9:15 p.m. Music will be provided by Kit Barley and the Creekside Bandits and FFWB VBS Kids.
July 4
The Wheaton Volunteer Fire Department Freedom Jam will be held at Wheaton Park with music beginning at 6 p.m. Hamburgers, hotdogs, chips, ice cream, and drinks will be available. Fireworks will start at dusk.
Monett Lions Club's 67th annual Fourth of July Chicken Barbecue will be held at Monett South Park. Serving will be 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tickets are $8.
Monett Area Chamber Freedom and Fireworks Celebration will begin at Monett South Park at 1 p.m. Fireworks will start at dusk.
Shell Knob Fire and Thunder July 4th Celebration will begin at dusk on Table Rock Lake near the Shell Knob Bridge, located on Hwy 39.
