This is the third season of our girls golf program. We have been fortunate to receive great support from the community, the golf course, and all the course members.        This year's team has seven members: three freshmen and four juniors. I anticipate that they will all return next year and, hopefully, we can add a few more members as well.
As we approach postseason play, I'm very pleased with the improvement of all the team members. Some of them had never really golfed before but have worked hard and made progress throughout the season.

We will take three girls to the District Tournament and hope they can qualify for the State Tournament in Jefferson City.
One memorable highlight of the season took place at the Willard Tournament, where we finished second in the team standings.        Avery Chappell was the individual champion, while Alyzea Myers finished in third place.
Other team members are Chloe Moller, Rachel Steinmann, Hanna Shockley, Gracie Harmon, and Chaney Cox.
I look forward to more improvement and more success from the team in the future.
