Health Department changing Monett hours

October 9, 2019

The Monett satellite office of the Barry County Health Department will change hours starting Nov. 1. The health department will change the days of operation at the Monett location to Tuesdays and Wednesdays the first two full weeks of each month, Wednesday on the third full week of each month, and Tuesday on the fourth full week of the month. All hours will be 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.

WIC services and vital records (birth/death certificates) will be the only services available at this location. All other services will be provided at the Cassville office. This includes all immunizations (childhood, adult, influenza, etc.), family planning supplies (pills, depo, ring, etc.), pregnancy services (testing, temp Medicaid, case management, etc.), STD/HIV testing, lead testing, communicable disease surveillance/investigation (TB testing), health education, environmental services (water testing, waste water issues, food and lodging inspections, etc.), and emergency preparedness planning.
