Highway 248 Bridge to be closed for daytime repairs

Barry Co. Rt. 248 bridge over Flat Creek will be closed during daytime hours for bridge repair.
Where: Missouri Route 248 bridge over Flat Creek in Barry County south of Jenkins; When: 8 a.m.-3 p.m., Monday, April 5 through Thursday, April 22; What: Crews working to replace bridge joints.
Traffic Impacts:
• All Route 248 lanes CLOSED at either end of the bridge during daytime hours
• All Route 248 lanes open at night and weekends
• Signs and message boards will alert drivers approaching work zone
• Drivers will have access to entrances at either end of the work zone, but will not be able to travel across the bridge
• No signed detour
• Drivers should find alternate route
(Weather and/or scheduling conflicts could alter the work schedule)
