March and Rally planned

A “God and Country” march and rally is schedule for Saturday, September 26, in Cassville, in conjunction with “The Return Rally” planned in Washington D.C. at the same time.
The rally will mark 40 days before the election and will offer residents the opportunity to take a moment and pray for our nation.
The Cassville event was planned by Janice Varner and Darrell Woods.
“It is not a political event; it is simply an event to honor God and the country before November’s election,” Varner said.
The march will begin at 9 a.m. by the Rock Gym at Cassville Schools and will then go south on Main Street. The march will continue to the Barry County Court House, where a short rally by Dave Taylor, the general manager and disc jockey at KWFC Christian radio station, from Springfield, will be the guest speaker.
“Everyone is welcome to join,” Varner said.
