Letter to the Editor:
Davis returning to Cassville City Council
October 9, 2019
On Monday, October 14, at 5:30 p.m., Cassville City Council will be holding their monthly meeting.
Once again, I have requested to speak before the council regarding dogs and cats being allowed to run free. If things go as it has in the past, I will be told, 'We are talking to other towns to see how they handle the situation.'
I appeared before the council 10 to 12 years ago. The faces of the council are different as well as the mayor. Since the attacks on my daughter, nine weeks ago, this has become very personal to me.
Many people have appeared before Cassville's Council in the past. Some because of dog attacks on them personally or dogs killing their pet. To date, the council has turned a deaf ear to the citizens’ complaints. A leash law not only protects the citizens, shoppers and tourists but protects your pets.
Please join me next Monday at 5:30 p.m. at the city council meeting.
-Nadean Davis, of Cassville.
