I would like to know why the Barry County Health Department charges $10 each for a COVID-19 test, while the National Guard testing unit at Cassville High School was able to provide free tests. My husband and I scheduled appointments to have the free tests done by the Guards.
There are a lot of us poor people in Barry County who can’t afford to (or don’t want to) dish out $10 for a test.
What is the health department doing with the $10 they’re collecting from each person? I’m wondering.
