Life 360 Offers Prom Attire Through Lending Program
Above, a prom dress on display at the Life 360 Lending Program. The program has far more than just dresses, however, with a grand amount of both male and female formal attire. Submitted photo.

With Prom season coming, and the rising cost of getting by only getting higher, many parents find it difficult to provide good quality prom attire for their child. Life 360 is of course a source of pride for those who work in it.
“I’m most proud of the fact that anyone who needs to borrow men's or women's formal wear for a school dance, governors ball, cruise or homecoming can borrow the apparel, shoes, jewelry and accessories free of charge.
It is an amazing program by the community and for the community. All items have been donated and everyone is a volunteer. Life360 Resource Center has allowed us to keep the program housed in the Resource Center also,” states Rachel Luebbering, Property Manager for Life 360, the parent company working to create a place locally where charity organizations can localize.
“The program has been around for about ten years. Two years ago it was handed over to Coalition of Charities, and we moved it into the then Cox Hospital basement that has since become The Life360 Resource Center, at 801 N. Lincoln Avenue, Monett. All items have been donated. All personnel are volunteers. Our seamstresses for repairs and alterations are volunteers and Fulp Cleaners dry cleans all of our dresses at no expense to us,” Luebbering continued.
In regards to funding, “We get monetary donations that are tax deductible. In the past, since the project has been in existence it allows girls and boys to go to Prom and Homecoming that normally wouldn't be able to afford to go. And from the girls that have been able to donate dresses to give back we have also seen a great change in those young ladies. The generosity of our community amazes us each day.
Memories are made that normally wouldn't be. We are accepting funding to start paying for our space rent and utilities. We'd like to add dressing rooms and add some decor, to give everyone in our lending program the best experience possible. Anyone is welcome to come in and tour our area and the Life360 Resource Center anytime by calling or texting 417.669.9310, or emailing [email protected] or FB message Life360 Resource Center or Focus on Prom.
Our formal program is only one of over 20 amazing programs that exist in the Resource Center. We’d love for people to come in and learn more about how many resources we have in our community.”
