Monett driver seriously injured in Hwy. 39 crash

A Monett driver was seriously injured after hitting a tree south of Jenkins on Friday, July 19. The crash occurred on Highway 39 around 9:40 p.m.

Robin L. Denis, 57, of Monett, was driving a 2018 Dodge Journey when the vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree about three miles south of Jenkins, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report.

Denis was flown to Mercy Hospital in Springfield by Lifeline for serious injuries suffered in the crash.

She was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.

The Journey was totalled and towed from the scene by Brice's Towing, of Cassville.
