Do you have some walls that need painting, plumbing that needs fixed or general household repairs that have been neglected for far too long? No need to fret, JD Handyman Services, moved Cassville.
Jeremy West, originally from Phoenix, Arizona, has experience with construction, oil refinery work, iron work, pipe fitting and working in power plants.
After 20 years, Jeremy and his wife, Maria, had grown tired of city life and wanted to move to the country. They both realized they were ready for a change.
The Wests needed some peace and quiet and a good place to raise their children that are ages 11 and 13. West says, “Laying in bed one night, Maria and I decided that moving to the country was the best decision for us and our kids. I looked over at her and said, ‘Let’s do it’.” So that is what the family did. The Wests packed all they owned into a trailer and started east looking for a town that they felt suited them as a family.
After many tiring miles of traveling and searching for their perfect place, they ran across the quaint town of Cassville. They liked the small town feel and, after realizing Cassville is where they wanted to settle down, they got in touch with a local realtor, Larry Daniels, with Four Seasons Realty. They found a house that fit their family and are now living in Cassville permanently.
The West family has now been in Cassville for approximately four months, and it is the place they call home.
West said, “I have always been good at fixing stuff, and I have always wanted to own a business of my own.” Starting out, West will be the only one running the business. Eventually, when the business grows he hopes to be able to hire a couple of people to work for him.
Prices will vary depending on what kind of work you are needing done. West does not charge an hourly rate, but rather charge by the size and time frame of the job.
There are free consultations unless the work you need done is electrical, then there is a service call fee. West will come to wherever the location is you need work done, and give a bid or estimate of how much he predicts the work will cost you.
West’s hope for the business is that he can build up a good reputation in this area and hopefully earn repeat costumers. “I hope to stay busy and continue building customers.”
Currently, West is doing some work on a house in Cassville replacing some floor joists. He is working alongside Kitto Investments, a company that buys, repairs and sells homes.
