The Barry County Health Department, in cooperation with the Cassville School District, Missouri Department
of Health and Human Services, and the Missouri National Guard, are hosting a free community-testing site for
residents. Barry County Health Department Administrator Roger Brock explained that this testing site is an important
part of the Show Me Strong Recovery Plan for Missouri.
“Expanded testing capacity and volume is the first pillar in the COVID-19 Recovery plan. This is an important step in better understanding the disease spread in our community," Brock said.
In order to accommodate as many people as possible while maintaining physical distancing, this will be a drive-through testing site. Participants will have a scheduled time for their test and, upon arrival, will not have to
leave their vehicle during the test.
Results will be provided to the individuals, typically, in two to three days. The site will conduct nasal swab tests that detect active COVID-19 virus. Residents who cannot attend this testing site may register for any of the other community testing sites by following the link or calling the Missouri COVID-19 Hotline listed below.
• Cost – $0
• Who – Any Missouri Resident, with or without symptoms can be tested
• Where – Cassville High School, 1825 State Hwy Y, Cassville, MO. 65625
• When – June 29, 2020 7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
• Registration – online at https://health.mo.gov/communitytest or by calling 877-435-8411.
