Purdy High School cast performs beloved classic, “Little Women”

Of her leading role as the headstrong Jo March in the 2021 Purdy High School Music Department’s production of Little Women, Senior M’kena Propps noted, “I loved her! If I could be Jo every day I would. She is independent, outspoken and strong. She is comfortable with who she is.” Propps grew wistful when asked about her final performance on the PHS stage. “I hated it . . . but I loved it. It was such an amazing way to go out, but I didn’t want it to be over.” Propps is currently exploring options for continuing her performance career on the college stage.
