The Purdy High School Class of 2019 chose Misty Smith Hall as its keynote speaker. Hall, a 14-year veteran social studies and history teacher at Purdy, shared a special memory of each member of the Class of 2019. She described the group as, “. . . special. They are full of heart, spice and all things nice.” Hall closed out her address by encouraging graduates to know their worth, take risks, do great things and always remember the path back to her classroom. “. . . you are worth more than all of the riches in the world. Anytime you don’t feel like that, you know where to find me; I’ll educate you.” Photo Credit: Shana Whisman
