A 26-year-old Purdy man is in jail after allegedly molesting a child under the age of 17 and providing her alcohol. Lloyd Brandon Anderson is charged with one felony count child molestation in the fourth degree with a child less than 17 years old and an age difference of more than four years and two misdemeanor counts of supplying alcohol to a minor.
According to affidavits of probable cause, the victim reported that Anderson subjected her to sexual contact by touching her private area, butt and breast area as well as buying her alcohol on two different occasions. The victim was caught at school with alcohol in early April.
On April 8, Anderson was interviewed by detective Angela Cole, with the Barry County Sheriff’s Department. Cole reported Anderson admitted to providing the victim with alcohol and touched her inappropriately.
Anderson is currently being held in the Barry County Jail on a $45,000 cash-only bond.
