Registration opens for Cassville Fall Festival car show

September 25, 2019

The Cassville Area Chamber of Commerce is gearing up for the Fall Festival on Saturday, October 26. New this year is the car, truck and motorcycle show.

“This is the first year the car show has gone from a spring event to a fall event,” said Chamber director Rachael Freeman.

“We are packing a lot fun and a lot of options into one weekend. It’s going to take hard work and great volunteers, but we are excited to have something for everyone,” said Freeman.

Registration is currently underway for cars, trucks and motorcycles. The cost per entry is $20. Forms can be picked up from the chamber office on Main Street or you can go online to the chamber website to download the form.

“We will be selling Car Show t-shirts separate from the Chili Cook-Off shirts. We’ve had several people ask us about that,” said Freeman. “We will have prizes, drawings and trophies for the winners.”

The Car Show, which in the past has taken place around the square in Cassville, will be located at the Cassville Methodist Church parking lot. The Car Show committee stated the parking lot can hold nearly 100 vehicles.

“We will have a DJ set up at both the Car Show and the Chili Cook Off. The DJ has worked at both events in the past and is excited to return for the challenge of two events at once,” said Freeman.

“We want the Fall Festival to be a success for our community, our businesses, our vendors and our local talent singing at The Show. It’s the hard work of our volunteers that helps ensure a great event.”
