A new stamped concrete base was recently poured around the bottom of the Rocky Edmondson Memorial in Rocky Edmondson Park in Cassville. The work was commissioned by the Cassville R-IV School District - owner of the property - and completed by Classic Concrete.
Major William Rothrock (Rocky) Edmondson, a Cassville native, served in the Vietnam War. Edmondson died in a plane crash in Vietnam in 1978, at age 36.
