Sater honored by Shell Knob senior center
February 26, 2020
Above, David Sater was honored for his work on behalf of senior citizens on Friday, January 31, by SeniorAge Area Agency on Aging and the Central Crossing Senior Center in Shell Knob. At the 11th hour of the last legislative session of 2019, Senator Sater and several others presented the Senior Services Health and Development Fund under Senate Bill 275. The bill passed and seniors all over the state will receive the benefits of additional funding to local senior centers.
A good crowd showed up to honor the senator and enjoy a delicious lunch after the presentation of the award. Ron Clark made the presentation on behalf of SeniorAge Area Agency on Aging.
Central Crossing Senior Center in Shell Knob is one of 36 senior centers in the SeniorAge Area Agency on Aging operational area in Southwest Missouri that will benefit with expanded or renewed services for our seniors.
