Second Angel Tree planned to
benefit Cedar Ridge Care Center
December 9, 2020
The community’s response to the angel tree featured on the front page of last week’s Barry County Advertiser, a project to benefit the residents of Roaring River Health & Rehab, was so overwhelming that a second beneficiary is being announced this week.
“This time, the angel tree beneficiaries will be the residents of Cedar Ridge Care Center in Cassville,” Caden Swearingen, co-organizer of the project, said.
The angel tree, located at Sunshine Tanning & More, 101 Main Street, Suite 1, Cassville, will contain an angel representing each of the 26 residents of Cedar Ridge. People may stop by, pick up an angel and purchase the gift listed on it. Gifts may be returned to the salon for delivery to the care facility.
Swearingen, owner of CS Designs, Decor & More in Cassville, said the angels representing the 80-plus residents of Roaring River Health & Rehab had been taken from the tree by the end of the day last Friday, and gifts are being purchased and returned for those residents.
Sunshine Tanning & More owner, Amanda Ross, would like to thank the community for their generosity.
