Seligman man killed in MO-37 crash

      Joseph M. Ferrell, 59, of Seligman, was killed in a crash near Washburn on Monday  morning. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, Ferrell was traveling at a high rate of speed when he lost control.
      Ferrell was traveling northbound on MO-37 one mile north of Washburn in a 1996 Toyota Tacoma on Monday, November 16, around 11:20 a.m. He lost control, went off the right side of the roadway and overturned. Ferrell, who was not wearing a safety belt, was ejected from the truck.
      Barry County Deputy Coroner Charlie McManus pronounced Ferrell deceased at the scene at 11:20 a.m.
      This was Missouri State Highway Patrol Troop D’s 113th fatality crash for 2015. November 18, 2015
