Slick roads cause crash

Highway 39 just south of Kings Harbor Resort was closed for 11 hours on Saturday as crews worked the scene of a crash on slick roads. A tractor-trailer overturned just around two p.m. after delivering to an area Dollar General store.
Central Cross Fire Protection District, the Missouri Highway Patrol, and other state and county agencies and businesses fought freezing temperatures and slick roads throughout the day until about after midnight to offload the truck’s freight and clear the roadway.
