earn state recognition

Southwest R-5 FFA Chapter is pleased to announce that four teams placed in the Top 10 at state contest in Columbia.
This year's teams were Floriculture, Soils, Dairy Cattle and Knowledge.
Floriculture (shown in center, right photo) placed 8th, with a group 2 rating. Teammates are Amy Reeves, Bonnie Robbins, Macy Colf, and Laney Moore.
Soils (top, left) placed 6th, with a group 1 rating. Teammates are Ty Howard, Andy Cornell, and Samuel Jennings.
Dairy Cattle (top, right) placed 7th with a group 1 rating. Teammates are Travis Sickles, Teresa Thompson, Zak Starr, and Allison Corwin.
Knowledge (top, left) placed 8th, with a group 1 rating. Teammates are Ali Shrum, Lilly Wolf, Caleb Ayer, and Dylan Rainwater.
The Southwest R-5 FFA Chapter is very proud of everyone for the hard work they have put into this contest season.
Southwest FFA had three State Degree participants this year. Shown in photo above, at bottom left are: Juniors, Ty Howard and Teresa Thompson; and Senior, Laney Moore. These three students worked hard and put in many hours into the FFA to earn their degrees. The Southwest FFA couldn’t be more proud of them.
