Temporary road closure on east 14th in Cassville

June 19, 2019
Work to construct storm sewer improvements adjacent to the elementary school will require the temporary closure of East 14th between Harold and Fair Streets over the next several weeks. The road closure is needed to isolate heavy equipment and workers constructing the storm sewer.
The project is a cooperative effort between the Cassville R-IV School District and the City of Cassville and is intended to reduce or eliminate surface water runoff at the pedestrian crossing for the elementary school.
The closure is expected to begin on or about Friday, June 21st, and last through the month of July. The start of construction and expected completion date are dependent upon suitable weather, materials availability and other factors.
Drivers are advised to detour around the closure using either Harold or Fair Streets and to remain aware of equipment and personnel that will be working and moving materials through the area.
Residents with questions or concerns about this project or the road closure should contact Cassville City Hall at (417) 847-4441.
