Three local students earn collegiate degrees

Three local homeschool group alumni earned Bachelors Degrees! Discovery Kids Homeschool Group began several years ago in Cassville at the Cassville Branch Library. Four students who attended the group through high school graduation went on to pursue collegiate degrees successfully. On December 13, 2019, Sierra D. Gunter, from Purdy, earned a Bachelor's Degree in Criminology with a minor in Psychology from Missouri State University in Springfield. She was home educated all of preschool throughout high school. She attended Crowder College previous to MSU where she earned her Associates Degree in Criminal Justice. Sierra plans on attending Graduate School to earn a Master's Degree. Riley B. Burbridge, from Shell Knob, earned her Bachelors Degree in Biological Science from Missouri Southern State University in Joplin on December 14, 2019. Riley also studied abroad in Belize during her education at MSSU. Riley attended Crowder College for her Associates Degree. Joshua Rittenhouse graduated on December 14, 2019, with a Bachelor's Degree of Science in Nuclear Engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology in Rolla. Joshua attended Crowder College as a dual credit student during his senior year and earned his Associates Degree in Pre-Engineering the next year. Joshua plans on attending graduate school next fall. |
