For the 22nd year, The Fall Show returns to Cassville to bring an exciting new line-up of local talent and musical numbers. A major change to hit the music show this year is the addition of a character act with the singers in the second half portraying the original artists for some favorite musical numbers.
Organizers Greg and Brenda Beck are the masterminds behind the Fall Show and Christmas Show each year which the community looks forward to. Greg stated, “We came up with the idea 22 years ago, presented it to the Chamber and they said, ‘Let’s try it.’ Now, here we still are.” The Show’s main focus is to provide entertainment while also allowing local talent to showcase their abilities and see a side of them you might miss in a day-today operation.
Returning this year for the Show are the Hometown Sound and the Redhots. The Redhots are made up Jennifer Evans, JaDonna Hoover and Debbie Nickle with the Redhot-Not Don Bowen adding his bass sound to the mix. Lead talent returning this year are favorites John Lueckenhoff, Jessica Hendrix and Leslie Smith.
Beck said that some new singers will also be joining the Show, including Jaci Evans, Jeremiah Hilburn, Levi Pollreisz and Drake Thomas.
The audience can look forward to the character show in the second half of the set with 13 different personalities gracing the stage of the FEMA Event Center. Beck said, “We’ll have many different people up on stage, including Garth Brooks, Loretta Lynn, Elvis both young and old, the Blues Brothers and the Beatles. This is the first time we’ve tried this and we know everyone is going to love it.”
The event will be held in the FEMA Event Center again this year. Beck said, “It worked really well having it in the FEMA building last year and we are glad to be back there.”
When asked if the Becks will be stopping The Shows anytime soon, Greg laughed and said, “I just don’t see that happening.” The Fall Show is put on each year in conjunction with the Chili and Salsa Cook Off on the square.
Tickets for The Show are on sale now at the Cassville Chamber of Commerce Office or at any of the local bands. Advance tickets are $6 each with the price going up to $8 at the door.
