Time to get outdoors for Trout Fest 2024

The City of Cassville, along with area business sponsors, will hold Trout Fest in conjunction with the 84th annual Cassville Rotary Rodeo, as well as the Cassville Chamber of Commerce City Wide Garage Sale next weekend.
Trout Fest is all about the outdoors and this year’s events do not disappoint.
The YMCA Cassville Pickleball Tournament will be held on June 1 at Cassville City Park, and will begin at 8 a.m. Cost for registration is $25 per player. This tournament features three categories:
•Mixed Doubles (All ages and two skill levels)
• Men’s Doubles (All ages and two skill levels)
• Women’s Doubles (All ages and two skill levels)

The Cassville Wildcat Club will host a Fundraiser Disc Golf Tournament on June 1 at Cassville South Park. Registration fee is $25 per player. To register, visit https://www.discgolfscene.com/tournaments/2nd_Annual_Cassville_Outdoor_Days_Wildcat_Disc_Golf_Club_Fundraiser_2024/. All proceeds will benefit the Cassville Wildcat Disc Golf Club.
The Cassville Aquatic Center will have a Free Swim Day event at Cassville’s South Park on June 1.
The 84th annual Cassville Rotary Rodeo will be held May 31-June 1 at Bill Hailey Arena in Cassville. For more information on this year’s rodeo, see the front page of this week’s issue of the Advertiser.
The Cassville Chamber of Commerce City Wide Garage Sale will be held May31-June1. Registration is free for the event. Registration deadline is May 24. As of press time, over 60 residents have registered for the city wide garage sale. Maps will be available online after May 28 at www.cassville.com.
To cap off the weekend, there will be a free outdoor concert on June 2 from 5-8 p.m. at South Park. This year’s entertainment includes Anthem Lights, Riley Clemmons and Caleb and Kelsey. Los Panchos Taco Truck, Smashed Burger and Donut NV food trucks will be available at 3:30 p.m.
