Two injured in Hwy. 39 when motorcycle hit deer

Two people were injured when a motorcycle crashed north of Shell Knob on Sunday morning. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, the motorcycle hit a deer in the roadway, injuring both the driver and a passenger around 4:30 a.m. on April 21.
The report states the 2012 Honda CBR motorcycle was headed northbound on Highway 39 about five miles north of Shell Knob when it crashed. The motorcycle hit a deer, overturned and ejected both the driver, Paul C. Miller, 31, of Golden, and passenger, Kristen M. Fink, 23, of Cassville.
Both Miller and Fink were taken to Mercy Hospital in Springfield for treatment of moderate injuries suffered in the crash. Both were wearing helmets.
The motorcycle was totaled and towed from the scene by Table Rock Auto Clinic of Shell Knob.
