Two injured in three-car crash on Hwy. 60 in Monett

Two people were injured in a crash on Highway 60 outside of Monett on Monday. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, one vehicle was rear ended, pushing it into the rear of a third vehicle.
A 2006 Chevrolet Silverado, driven by Noah R. Stanley, 21, of Monett, was headed westbound on Highway 60 about half a mile east of Monett on Monday, March 25. The Silverado struck a second vehicle, a 2005 Chrysler Town and Country, driven by Michele N. Frieburger, 45, of Monett, around 4:40 p.m. The Town and Country was then pushed into a 2001 Dodge Neon, driven by Jacob R. Henderson, 23, of Purdy.
Frieburger sustained minor injuries in the crash and was transported to Cox South Hospital in Springfield. A 12 year old passenger in Frieburger’s vehicle suffered moderate injuries and was also transported to Cox South Hospital in Springfield. Both were wearing seat belts at the time of the crash.
No other injuries were reported at the time of the crash. Henderson was wearing a seat belt. Stanley was not wearing a seat belt.
All three vehicles sustained extensive damage in the crash and were towed from the scene by Thomas Towing, of Monett.
