Area crashes result in moderate, minor injuries

According to the investigation conducted by Tpr. T. Coffey with the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Alma L. Holenda, 38, of Purdy, driver of an eastbound 2002 Toyota Sequoia, went off the left side of the roadway at Route W and crashed into a fence.
The accident occurred at 7 a.m., Wednesday, January 27, just west of Butterfield.
Holenda suffered minor injuries. The driver was transported by ambulance to Cox Hospital in Monett.
Holenda was wearing a seat belt.
The vehicle was towed by Brice’s Towing of Cassville. The car was insured.
According to the report filed by K.L. Knight with the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Miles S. Keifer, of Wheaton, driver of a 1998 Mercury Mountaineer, ran off the roadway on Highway 76 and struck a fence and several trees.
The accident happened at 6:30 p.m., Friday, January 29, just east of Anderson.
Keifer suffered moderate injuries. The driver was transported to Mercy Hospital in Cassville.
Keifer was not wearing a seatbelt. The vehicle was towed by Metro Towing of Neosho. It is unknown if the car was insured.
According to a report filed by Tpr. L.A. Wilson with the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Harleigh J. Jester, 18, of Washburn, driver of a 2013 Ford Escape, struck the rear of a 2010 Toyota Corolla, driven by Nathaniel L. Breier, 38, of Rogers, Arkansas. As a result, Breier then struck the rear of the vehicle in front of him, a 2006 Ford F-250, driven by Charles F. Akins, 51, of Washburn.
The accident occurred at 6:15 p.m., Sunday, January 31, on Highway 37 at Washburn. All three vehicles were northbound.
Jester suffered minor injuries. The driver was transported by a private vehicle to Mercy Hospital in Cassville.
Jester was wearing a seat belt.
Both Jester’s and Breier’s vehicles were totaled and towed by Wilson’s of Washburn, while Akins’s vehicle suffered moderate damage and was driven from the scene.
All three vehicles were insured.
