Haven of the Ozarks' Pet of the Week: Leia and Bevo
November 6, 2019
Meet Leia (pictured) and Bevo, the Haven of the Ozarks’ Pets of the Week. Leia and Bevo are sweet seniors who still have plenty of spunk. They came to the Haven when their owner was deployed overseas. He had hoped to eventually get them back, but he recently contacted Haven and asked that we find them a new permanent home. He is heartbroken but feels that's the best thing for them. The staff and volunteers would love to find their new family before cold weather really sets in. They're used to living in a house, and that's where they need to be now. Both are housetrained, good with people of all ages, and like other dogs. No cats for Bevo, please. These pups are best friends and need to stay together. The staff knows that it could be a challenge to find someone willing to take on two new pups at once, but they're important to each other. Can you help?
Haven of the Ozarks is open 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day of the week or call (417) 835-3647 for more information. Haven of the Ozarks Animal Sanctuary is located at 9617 Farm Road 2190 in Washburn. Visit them online at www.havenoftheozarks.org.
